Job summary

Eccalon is seeking a Security Software Engineer to build and harden software systems supporting DoD programs under CMMC/NIST 800-171/FedRAMP. You will embed security across the SDLC—from design to CI/CD and cloud deployment (AWS GovCloud, Azure GCC High)—collaborating with engineering, DevSecOps, and IT in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities include secure design, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and secure IaC; candidates should have 3+ years in security-focused software

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years software engineering with a security focus.
• Experience with secure coding practices and frameworks.

• Implement CI/CD security gates (SAST/DAST, secrets).
• Design secure multi-tenant cloud architectures (AWS/Azure).
