Job summary

Amazon's Security Corporate Response team is seeking a Security Software Development Engineer to build automations and tools that strengthen AWS security operations worldwide. You will design software to accelerate threat response and improve security posture for customers.

You will collaborate with global security teams, leverage AWS services, and deliver scalable solutions with measurable productivity gains, while advancing your career in a fast-paced security environment at Amazon.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for systems.
• Experience programming in at least one modern language.
• Experience with Gen AI platforms such as Amazon Bedrock.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Experience programming with Amazon Bedrock or another Gen AI platform.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
