The position requires a NYS Security Guard License, a high school diploma or GED, and 2 years of security experience with 1 year in supervision. 16 hours of NYS OJT and CPR-AED certification are important qualifications, with F80 certification

Qualifications

• Valid NYS Security Guard License is required.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Two years of security guard experience with at least one year in a supervisory role.
• Completion of 16 hours of NYS-mandated OJT training.
• CPR-AED certification is a plus.
• F80 Certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Supervises security guard team to ensure adherence to procedures and best practices.
• Performs regular spot-checks at posts to verify tasks are performed.
• Oversees scheduling platform to confirm clock-ins/clock-outs per protocol.
• Responds to escalated alerts with professionalism and expediency.
• Follows fire prevention procedures, property patrol, and incident reporting.
• Adheres to all company service and operating standards.
• Performs additional tasks as needed.
