Job summary

United Protective Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Security Site Supervisor to oversee daily security operations at a high-rise office building in Houston, TX.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to manage a security team while maintaining a safe environment. The ideal candidate will hold a Texas Security Officer License and have prior supervisory or leadership experience in high-rise or corporate security.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Security Officer License.
• Previous security supervisory or leadership experience required.
• High-rise, corporate, or commercial security experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
• Customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of elevator entrapment procedures.
• Knowledge of basic medical emergency response and ability to provide assistance within the scope of training and certification.
• Strong observation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prepare clear and accurate reports.
• Basic computer and email skills.
• Ability to enforce company and site-specific policies.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support security officers assigned to the property
• Conduct daily briefings and communicate site updates and operational changes
• Monitor officer attendance, appearance, performance, and post coverage
• Ensure posts are properly staffed and post orders are followed
• Conduct building patrols and security inspections
• Monitor access control, visitor activity, and building security
• Serve as a point of contact for building management regarding security operations
• Respond to security incidents, medical emergencies, alarms, and other emergencies
• Complete incident and daily activity reports
• Assist with training and coaching security officers
• Address performance and operational concerns
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Maintain positive working relationships with clients, tenants, visitors, and employees
