United Protective Services is hiring a High Rise Flex Security Officer for West Houston 77024. This role covers multiple assignments in high-rise commercial environments with a dynamic schedule.

Starting pay is $16.50/hour, up to $17.00/hour based on experience. Must have Texas Level II or III license, valid driving status, and be available for two of the three shifts including overnights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of security experience preferred.
• Active Texas Level II or Level III Security License.
• High-rise, commercial, corporate, or Class A property security experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional security presence and patrol interior/exterior as required.

Starting Pay: $16.50/hour | Up to $17.00/hour based on experience

Scheduling & Availability:

• Must be available for at least two (2) of the following three shifts: Day, Evening, and Overnight.
• Overnight availability is required.

• Must be flexible and willing to accept assignments at different properties within the West Houston area.
• Assignments may include call-offs, vacancies, special coverage, and other operational staffing needs.
• Hours and weekly schedules may vary based on operational needs.
• Accept and fulfill shift assignments as operational needs change.
• Maintain a professional and visible security presence.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols as required.
• Address issues or disturbances with professionalism and sound judgment.
• Assist tenants, visitors, staff, and property management while providing a high level of customer service.
• Document incidents and daily activities accurately and thoroughly.
• Follow site-specific post orders, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain communication with supervisors and management.
• Keep all issued equipment in proper working condition.

Ideal Candidate:

• 1+ years of security experience preferred.
• Active Texas Level II or Level III Security License.
• High-rise, commercial, corporate, or Class A property security experience is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Able to adjust quickly to new environments, assignments, and responsibilities.
• Reliable, punctual, and consistently professional in appearance and conduct.
• Able to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions.
