Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Site Supervisor in New Orleans to supervise the delivery of security services at a client site. You will manage guards, coordinate reporting, and liaise with the client and operations teams to maintain safety and performance.

The role requires an armed license, 21+ years, clear communication, crisis handling, and coordination of scheduling and reporting. Weekly pay and weekend availability are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Background investigation and drug screen required by law.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills to operate wireless technology at client sites.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Knowledge of scheduling and billing software for reporting.

Job Description

PAY: $17.00 / hr / pays weekly

SCHEDULE: 7am- 3pm- must be able to work weekends

POSITION: Armed Security Site supervisor

Duties include:

• Maintaining a visible presence to deter and detect any suspicious activity.

• Monitor entryways and exits

• Ensure safety protocols are followed.

• Writing detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security concerns.

• Collaborating with staff and personnel when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Mandatory experience in Supervisor security position
• 21 years of age or older
• Experience being an armed guard will receive first consideration
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
• Ability to work outdoors in the elements as needed
• CURRENT ARMED LICENSE - WILL RECEIVE FIRST CONSIDERATION

Allied Universal Services is seeking the position of an Armed Security Site Supervisor.

The Armed Site Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer. The Armed Site Supervisor will act as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers and security officers. They will supervise site staff and provide coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Be at least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
• Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
• Capably utilize scheduling and billing software to produce reports (such as Scheduling Activity, Training Detail reports, etc.) that require interpretation and action for effective business management
• Communicates staffing needs to Operation Manager which may include using the Requisition process, assisting in identifying and interview quality candidates
• Assures that officers receive appropriate training, developing them in both technical and professional skills; also includes performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, performance evaluations, recognition, etc.)
• Assures that employee grievances are heard with help from appropriate branch or region HR support employees
• Able to:
  • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
  • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
  • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
