Qualifications

• One or more of: Associate's in Criminal Justice / military corrections / law enforcement experience, or 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Proficient in computers and productivity software.
• Ability to monitor surveillance and alarm response.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and think through problems.
• Ability to handle crisis situations at client site.
• Ability to use scheduling and billing software to produce reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations; conduct site-specific training per standards.
• Outline tasks for all security roles and ensure post orders are followed.
• Ensure CPR/First Aid training compliance.
• Coordinate on-site investigations and client communications.
• Perform access control and visitor management audits daily.
• Create/update access clearances as needed.
• Complete daily site audits and monthly reports in SharePoint.
• Plan and deliver monthly/quarterly training calendar-based sessions.
• Provide information briefings and training per client requests.
• Maintain proficiency by reviewing client policies and procedures.
• Identify improvement opportunities with the team.
• Support staffing needs with Security Account Manager and recruiters.
• Develop staff through coaching, performance evaluations, and MSO training.
• Maintain confidentiality of information and personnel records.
• Utilize WinTeam for scheduling and reporting.

Position Details:

• Position: Security Site Supervisor
• Location: Kansas City, MO 64161
• Pay: $23.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age or older

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily site operations; coordinate and/or conduct site-specific on-the-job training, client-specific training, and annual refresher training for security personnel, as well as meet Allied Universal's corporate training standards
• Outline task and responsibilities for all security officer and lead/supervisory roles
• Ensure that all Post Orders and Operating Procedures are followed and updated as required
• Ensure compliance with First/CPR/AED training requirements
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis as needed and coordinate with client on-site investigations
• Perform access control and visitor management audits on a daily basis
• Create and update Access Control Clearances as needed
• Complete daily site audits and compile monthly site reports in SharePoint
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and present basic and site-specific training based on monthly/quarterly training calendar or as requested by National Training Manager
• Provide information briefings and training sessions in response to Client or Security Account Manager requests
• Maintain technical proficiency in assigned area by reviewing policies and procedures for all client locations
• Work with all levels in the organization to identify, analyze and solve problems and create opportunities for continuous improvement
• Maintain confidentiality of all information and data
• Review all 40 Hour on-the-job and skills testing results for all new hires to ensure proper training has been conducted
• Ensure compliance with all Job Safety Analysis and Safety Orientation requirements for all client locations
• Conduct daily patrol tour reviews
• Conduct quarterly door checks and badge audits
• Communicate staffing needs to Security Account Manager; assist recruiters in identifying, interviewing, and hiring quality candidates
• Develop staff in both technical and professional skills through performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, MSO training, annual formal performance evaluations, recognition, etc.)
• Assure that employee grievances are heard and resolved (with help from appropriate support employees, as required) and that personnel records are updated and accurate (Change of Status forms, rosters, etc.)
• Utilize WinTeam for scheduling, and to produce reports (such as Scheduling Activity Report) that require interpretation and action for effective business management

Qualifications (Must Have):

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
• Must be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
• Must possess, or be able to obtain within 60 days of hire. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPOR) certification (training will be provided)
• Must possess one or more of the following:
• Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice
• Military service, corrections, or law enforcement experience
• Minimum of two years verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry
• Proficient in computers and productivity software
• Ability to monitor surveillance and alarm response
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Capacity to multi-task, to work under pressure, and to think through a problem before making a decision
• Ability to efficiently handle crisis situations at the client site
• Able to utilize scheduling and billing software to produce reports (such as Scheduling Activity, Training Detail reports, etc.) that require interpretation and action for effective business management

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Customer Service Experience in a multitasking work environment
• Data center experience
