Job summary

Cafaro is seeking an Assistant Security Manager to support security efforts for a local retail center in Clarksville, TN. You will help safeguard staff, tenants and guests and assist in daily security operations at the property.

As part of Cafaro, you’ll join a committed team and have the chance to recruit, train and develop security personnel in collaboration with the Security Manager and Regional Manager.

Qualifications

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Office).
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proven ability to be flexible, prioritize and manage multiple projects, as well as solve problems in a timely manner.
• Strategic planning and thinking as well as the ability to work well under pressure.
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military or management preferred.
• Clean criminal background and able to pass drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safety and security of the facility including staff, tenants and guests.
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of all security personnel.
• Ensure security officers are following company policy and procedures.
• Recruit, train and develop security personnel in collaboration with Security Manager and Regional Manager.
• Ensure scheduling is handled effectively to best meet the demands of the facility.
• Assist in maintaining and processing detailed weekly reporting system.
