Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervises security personnel on shift.
• Assists with employee evaluations, disciplinary actions and counseling sessions.
• Assists with conducting shift briefings with officers.
• Keeps informed about shift activities to update subordinates on changes affecting inmates and operations.
• Conducts routine and non-routine security checks of work areas and living units.
• Conducts formal and non-formal inmate counts.
• Investigates inmate complaints and counsels inmates as required.
• Monitors inmate movement within the institution.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
