Position Overview

Must be 21 years or older with 2+ years in a leadership role, 3+ years of security experience, or 1+ year of law enforcement experience. (No exceptions)

Job Details

• Position: Full-time Security Shift Supervisor
• Location: Tyson Omaha, 13076 Renfroe Circle, Omaha, NE
• Pay Rate: $19.43/hour
• Schedule: Evenings, 4:00 pm - 12:00 am, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

The Security Shift Supervisor acts as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and security officers. Responsibilities include supervising staff, providing coaching, recognition, discipline within approved ranges, and ensuring safety and security with attention to detail and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• Experience: 21+ years old, with 2+ years in a leadership role OR 3+ years' security experience OR 1+ year law enforcement experience.
• Skills: Comfortable using technology devices
• Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.

Additional Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs neatly
• Understanding of operating procedures
• Valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience and a clean record (if applicable)
• Successful completion of background check and drug/alcohol testing
• Intermediate computer skills
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently
• Capability to work in various environments and lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
