Job Description

We are seeking an Armed Security Shift Supervisor based in Disputanta, Virginia. The role involves supervising and coordinating quality security services on a specific shift at an assigned client site. The supervisor acts as a liaison between the site staff and management, overseeing staff performance, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within authorized parameters.

Pay Rate & Schedule: $21.42/hour, Part-Time, Friday 5AM - 1PM, Monday - Tuesday 1PM - 9PM. Must have a clean driving record, prior corrections, law enforcement, or military experience. Active Virginia DCJS Armed and Unarmed Security License required. Prior armed security experience preferred. We promote from within and offer daily and weekly pay options.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with personnel and the public.
• Licensing as per state/local laws, required prior to employment.
• Successful background check and drug screening in compliance with laws.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Intermediate computer skills for operating wireless technology.
• Ability to manage crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Ability to communicate staffing needs and ensure officers' training and development.
• Handle grievances appropriately with HR support.
• Administer safety programs and manage site-specific hazards.
• Assist in managing uniforms, equipment, and vehicles, maintaining inventories.
• Physical ability to work in various environments, lift up to 40 pounds, climb stairs, and stand or walk for long periods.
