SUNY Westchester Community College’s Criminal Justice Department is offering a paid Security Services Internship at the Valhalla campus. SUNY Westchester Community College’s Criminal Justice Department is seeking and enthusiastic and diligent students to intern with our campus Security Department. This paid internship is designed to provide students with insight in providing security and security-related services to the campus community and is a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in campus safety operations while learning from professionals in the field. Interns will support a variety of positions, including Customer Service Representative, Control Center Operator, and Campus Security Officers.
In addition, the intern will have the opportunity to tour various county law enforcement facilities and learn the process of becoming a police officer and licensed security guard in New York State.
