This job functions in a supervisory capacity over the Security Sergeant and Security Officers on assigned shift, overseeing the daily operations of Security. It includes instructing and guiding officers, preparing work schedules, and providing on-the-job training.

Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Required: 3 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience; 1 year supervisory experience in a security-related field.
Required: Valid Louisiana driver’s license with a clean DMV report. Ability to pass and maintain certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI), and firearms training.
Preferred: Completion of Certified Police Officer of Standard Training Policy Academy or POST Certification.
Other duties may be assigned, and compliance with all applicable laws and standards is required.
Physical demands include exerting force up to 50 pounds occasionally, with accommodations available for disabilities. The role involves working in a healthcare environment with potential exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials.
