Acuity International is seeking an Armed Guard to maintain peace and security on a U.S. Army Installation located on Kwajalein Island, Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands. Guards will be assigned to multiple points including Kwajalein Central Patrol Station, Entry and Exit, and Roi-Namur Security Detachment.

Assignments are dictated by staffing requirements. Candidates must meet strict security prerequisites and be prepared to perform roving patrols, traffic control, and detailed reporting.

Qualificações

• Minimum 6 months security experience at GS4 level.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess an Active Secret Security Clearance and ability to maintain such clearance.
• Possess a U.S. Passport with a minimum of two years remaining.
• Active U.S. Driver’s License.
• Familiarity with MS Office suite and basic computer skills.
• Must pass a background check in accordance with contract requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct roving mobile and foot patrols of housing areas and BQs.
• Conduct foot patrols in the downtown area.
• Conduct security checks of MEVAs.
• Assist Department of the Army Civilian Police (DACP) when requested.
• Conduct traffic control during special events.
• Prepare detailed Activity Reports when required.

Summary

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Law Enforcement, Armed Security or Honorable Discharge from any U.S. Military Branch of Service.

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions

• Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
• Work involves performing security duties in inclement weather.
• Must have ability to effectively detain an offender using minimal force.
• Must pass an initial and annual Physical Readiness Test (PRT) consisting of a mile and half run under 17:30, 19 push-ups in 2 minutes and 19 sit-ups in 2 minutes.
• Must pass a U.S. Army firearms qualification course utilizing the issued 9mm handgun.
