Acuity International is seeking a capable Armed Security Guard to maintain peace and security on a U.S. Army installation on Kwajalein Island, Kwajalein Atoll. You will be assigned to multiple security stations and patrol requirements per staffing needs.

Responsibilities include roving patrols, foot patrols, security checks, and coordination with DACP. A valid Secret clearance, US citizenship, and a clean background are required; experience with MS Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of security experience at GS4 level.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance.
• Must possess a U.S. Passport with at least two years remaining.
• Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License.

Responsabilités

• Conduct foot patrols in the downtown area.
• Perform security checks of MEVAs.
• Assist DACP when requested.
• Control traffic during special events.
• Prepare detailed Activity Reports when required.

Location

Deploying to the Marshall Islands.

Summary

The Armed Guard will perform all duties associated with maintaining peace and security on a U.S. Army Installation located on Kwajalein Island, Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands. Armed Guards will be assigned to the Kwajalein Central Patrol Station, Entry and Exit, Kwajalein Dock Security Check Point and Roi-Namur Security Detachment. Assignments are dictated by staffing requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct roving mobile and foot patrols of housing areas and BQs.
• Conduct foot patrols in the downtown area.
• Conduct security checks of MEVAs.
• Assist Department of the Army Civilian Police (DACP) when requested.
• Conduct traffic control during special events.
• Prepare detailed Activity Reports when required.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 6 months of security experience at GS4 level.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess an Active Secret Security Clearance and ability to maintain such clearance.
• Possess a U.S. Passport with a minimum of two (2) years remaining.
• Active U.S. Driver’s License.
• Familiarity with MS Office suite and basic computer skills.
• Must pass a background check in accordance with contract requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Law Enforcement, Armed Security or Honorable Discharge from any U.S. Military Branch of Service.

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions

• Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
• Work involves performing security duties in inclement weather.
• Must have ability to effectively detain an offender using minimal force.
• Must pass an initial and annual Physical Readiness Test (PRT) consisting of a mile and half run under 17:30, 19 push-ups in 2 minutes and 19 sit-ups in 2 minutes.
• Must pass a U.S. Army firearms qualification course utilizing the issued 9mm handgun.
