Location: 3734 Elvis Presley Blvd, Memphis, TN 38116, USA

This is a full‑time position located in the Security Department at Graceland and the Guest House. Working variable and flexible days, employees must be available for the 4:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. shift. Must be flexible to work all shifts as needed. Benefits will be offered after successful completion of a 60‑day introductory period.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of assigned shift(s) to maintain a safe and secure workplace
• Train and motivate staff; provide training for new employees
• Document all incidents, including employee performance, absences, and lateness
• Assist in providing first aid; use portable radio; observe CCTV monitors
• Write reports of various types; maintain crowd control as required
• Assist with other duties as requested

Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

• Experience assigning work tasks and overseeing daily operations of a security department
• Ability to provide weekly staffing schedules so all shifts are covered
• Training and motivating staff; handling complaints and referrals
• Ability to react in emergency situations; CPR helpful
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); use of portable radio
• Knowledge of security for diverse cultural, economic, and educational backgrounds

Physical Requirements

Stand and walk for long periods; stoop, reach, and lift boxes up to 50 lb; climb stairs; speak clearly and distinctly.

Special Conditions

Uniform required; current Tennessee certification and a valid driver’s license required.

Conditions of Employment

Variable/flexible hours and days, including weekends, holidays, overtime, and work outside in all types of weather.
