A leading school district in Missouri seeks a dedicated Security Personnel to ensure the safety and security of students and staff. Responsibilities include patrolling campuses, managing access, and collaborating with law enforcement during emergencies. Ideal candidates will possess a valid security license and have a strong background in maintaining safety in public education environments.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear for extended periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to exhibit manual dexterity to dial a telephone, key a two-way radio microphone, operate a keyboard, and use a lock and key; hear and understand speech at normal levels; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly; ability to isolate voices in multiple conversations; articulate information in an emergency situation; use physical agility and strength to defend self and detain persons using force if necessary; and have the visual acuity necessary to observe and comprehend student movement.
WORK ENVIRONMENT / CONDITIONS:
The work setting involves performance in an office and school environment with various levels of staff, visitor and student involvement. Conditions can include working in various hot, cold, and/orwet weather conditions. The accomplishment of tasks is often interrupted by persons with special and/or immediate needs. Work conditions feature frequent demands to support staff and administrators.
