Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees and the public while conducting site-specific screening procedures and access-control policies at a government location.
• Screen individuals and items, identify prohibited items and report concerns according to site policy.
• Verify visitor credentials and direct guests to check-in processes; maintain visitor/incident records.
• Respond calmly to incidents and alarms, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of screening areas and entry points to deter unauthorized activity.
