Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Judicial Screener in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. You will screen visitors, monitor access points, and maintain a welcoming, controlled environment while delivering professional customer service.

Responsibilities include verifying credentials, reporting concerns, conducting site patrols, and responding to incidents in a calm, compliant manner.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or 5 years security experience or a college degree in criminal justice.
• Guard Card or license is required.
• State, county, or city security license preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals and belongings using approved screening equipment and procedures, reporting prohibited items, access concerns, and unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Verify credentials, manage visitor access in accordance with established protocols, and direct individuals to designated areas as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
