Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions in Dayton, OH is seeking a security-focused professional to perform inspections of grounds and facilities, document results, and respond to incidents. The role includes fire reporting, incident investigation, and strict adherence to safe, logged procedures.

You will support de-escalation and safety initiatives on site. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of security or related experience, a high school diploma, a valid license, and CPR/First Aid training.

Qualifications

  • One year security or law enforcement experience, or successful military experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
  • Commercial Drivers License with Air Brake and Passenger endorsements is preferred.
  • Two years related experience - CPR/First Aid.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts security inspections of grounds and facility and logs results.
  • Reports fires and helps suppress them.
  • Investigates incidents and prepares clear reports.
  • Provides first aid/CPR as needed.
  • Manages disturbances and de-escalates situations.
  • Inspects General Services Administration fleet vehicles.
  • Maintains security, vehicle and transportation logs accurately.
  • Logs and screens employees, visitors, vendors and students on entry/exit.
  • Other duties as assigned.
