Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years retail security, first responder, or military experience preferred.
• 1–2 years big-box retail security experience.
• Driver's license and security license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible security and safety presence throughout the location.
• Validate building security per policy (gates, doors, access control, perimeter).
• Engage with over-the-road and dedicated fleet drivers in compliance with CT PAT.
• Perform regular safety and physical security audits using handheld devices.
• Patrol interior and exterior areas and respond to incidents or emergencies.
• De-escalate situations involving associates, visitors, and contractors.
• Collaborate with leadership to enforce policies and report suspicious activity.
• Utilize CCTV to monitor security and document incidents.

Education

Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice, Safety, or related security field
