Job summary

Vanguard’s College to Corporate Internship Program in Canada offers a paid, hands-on software engineering experience designed to translate classroom learning into real-world solutions. You’ll work on security-focused projects that protect investors, while gaining extensive training and mentorship from professionals.

As part of this full-time, summer internship, you will collaborate with teams to deliver high-impact software, participate in Agile/LEAN practices, and build meaningful connections

Qualifications

• In pursuit of a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a concentration in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, Security, Risk, Cybersecurity or related technical/engineering subject matter required
• Strong interest in web, mobile, and/or application development
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
• Demonstrated leadership skills and/or leadership aspirations
• Effective analytical, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Build high-impact solutions that enable Vanguard to perform at its best and do what’s right for investors
• Support achieving client outcomes and giving our investors the best chance at investment success
• Gain hands-on experience in software development and practice Agile & LEAN methodologies in a dynamic environment
• Share insights anddrive outcomes individually and incollaborative,supportiveenvironments
• Build a network with program managers, alumni, senior leaders and peers
• Meet regularly with your department manager and internship program manager to receive personalized coaching and mentorship
