Job summary

MLabs seeks a Head of Security & Risk to design, implement, and own the enterprise risk management program from the ground up. You will lead information security, compliance, and incident response initiatives across engineering, product, legal, and operations, ensuring audit-ready readiness and strong security posture.

The role reports to the Deputy COO and requires collaboration with multi-functional teams, with preference for NYC base while supporting remote work in the US.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in information security, risk management, GRC, or compliance operations in fintech or B2B SaaS.
• Ability to build and own enterprise risk programs, including ISMS and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Build and own Enterprise Risk Management program from scratch.
• Drive SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance roadmap and audits.
• Design and maintain ISMS, security policies, and incident response frameworks.
• Lead vendor and partner security due diligence and documentation packages.
• Develop and oversee security awareness training across all departments.
