Role Overview
Manage the design and implementation of physical security integration projects for all new build construction jobs across the US enterprise. Responsible for day‑to‑day activities related to design, budgeting, and implementation of access control and CCTV security systems to ensure on‑time delivery that supports key corporate initiatives and customer deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and customers to understand, analyze and document business/design requirements for physical security on new construction builds.
- Meet with architects and low‑voltage designers to generate security designs that incorporate Corporate Security standards and customer requirements.
- Compile projected budgets and pricing for capital requests, and prepare regular financial reporting throughout the duration of each project.
- Assist operations and security teams in evaluating alternative processes and solutions while maintaining minimum security and building design standards.
- Prepare detailed RFPs to engage security vendors, vet proposals, and generate purchase orders to support the entire security scope of work.
- Use project planning tools and techniques to schedule project resources, key deliverables, and milestones.
- Identify, communicate, analyze, and remediate risks and issues to protect the delivery schedule.
- Use strong interpersonal and organizational skills to daily communicate with key stakeholders, project sponsors, technical teams and vendors, driving projects to successful completion.
- Manage and drive security device commissioning documentation to closure for smooth transition of devices to Corporate Security & Operations teams.
- Prepare documentation for successful turnover of new or expanded security systems.
- Hand off completed projects to the functional business unit for ongoing operations and support.
- Maintain a library of lessons learned following each project completion.
Minimum Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MS Project or similar tools.
- Self‑starter and self‑managed with a problem‑solving mindset.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and at or under budget.
- Collaborative approach to project management.
- Ability to monitor and enforce project goals and timelines effectively.
- Highly organized and disciplined with proven time‑management and communication skills.
- Solutions‑oriented and adaptable to schedule changes in response to changing priorities.
- Effective collaboration and communication with all levels of staff.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 7 years of combined business and/or project management experience.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience leading personnel.
- Effective time‑management and communication skills, capable of organizing workload with complex competing priorities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple construction or similar projects simultaneously.
- Experience with physical security integration and/or design (preferred).
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business (preferred).
