Job summary

Swift & Staley Inc. in Portsmouth, OH is seeking a Program Support Specialist to report to the Deputy Security Manager and help manage program-wide support and self-assessment efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree or appropriate combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Three years of direct safeguards and security experience is preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE ‘Q’ security clearance.
• Must be a citizen of the United States and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Completion of DOE National Training Center courses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop procedures and plans for self-assessment.
• Be involved in training development and executing the overall comprehensive self-assessment.
• Performs standard S&S program activities such as facility approval, registration of activities and FOCI program responsibilities and security management in contracting.
• Provides administrative support in the preparation, tracking, reviewing, and submittal of all types of contract required documents.
• Supports other topical areas as a method to conduct cross training activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
