Job summary

Watermark Risk Management is seeking an Information Security (INFOSEC) Analyst to support the U.S. Coast Guard headquarters. You will analyze information security policy, advise on CNSI, CUI, and SBU handling, and coordinate with contractors to ensure compliance across missions.

This high-visibility role requires expertise in CNSI/CUI/SBU programs, policy development, and training activities, with emphasis on security program support and mission protection.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of CNSI, CUI, and SBU handling and marking.
• Experience with policies from Executive Order 13526 and DoD/DHS directives.
• Proven record in information security policy planning and administration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze new and existing INFOSEC policy and guidance to advise on improvements.

• Manage security violations: inquiries, findings, corrective actions, and CO/COR coordination.
• Support Staff Assistance Visits for unit compliance with security programs.

Information Security (INFOSEC) Analyst

In this role you will be a part of the U.S. Coast Guard headquarters team that provides policy and security program support for the security and resilience of critical USCG missions, infrastructures, and assets. In this high visibility, demanding role you'll have the opportunity to provide advisory, analytical, and physical security support for the USCG's worldwide operations and key national security missions. You'll work across teams and integrate with other disciplines and teams for mission protection and success and serve as an expert for Classified National Security Information (CNSI), Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), and Sensitive but Unclassified (SBU) information security programs, while supporting USCG-wide information security policy development, compliance, and training activities.

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of five (5) years of direct relevant experience in information security policy, planning, assessment, and administration is required.
• Experience must reflect knowledge and proficiency in staff and action officer functions at a military service headquarters level.
• Experience must include demonstrated proficiency in the following areas: CNSI Safeguarding, Handling & Marking.
• CUI Program Administration.
• SBU Information Management.
• Executive Order 13526 Implementation.
• Security Violation Management.
• Demonstrated customer service, technical writing and editing, and interpersonal skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in security-related discipline and five years direct relevant experience; or10 years of directly relevant experience (may substitute for degree)

Security Clearance Requirements

Secret Clearance Ability to pass DHS security requirements to obtain an ID card and for handling Controlled Unclassified Information

Desirable/Other Qualifications

• Prior direct support to USCG information security programs is strongly preferred by the GovernmentFamiliarity with DHS information security policy frameworks and DHS Management Directive directives Experience with the Coast Guard Business Intelligence or similar/predecessor systems
• Homeland defense, homeland security, Defense Support for Civil Authorities, antiterrorism/force protection, or law enforcement background

*This position is contingent on contract award.* The anticipated compensation range for this position is $60,000-130,000. Multiple considerations are taken into account when determining the final salary/hour rate, including but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, education and certifications, relevant work experience, related skills and competencies, as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
