Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Security Program Manager to lead the physical security strategy for our data center projects. You will manage security systems from design through installation, commissioning, and operation, covering access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and perimeter protection.

This is a high-visibility role requiring collaboration with architects, engineers, vendors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in physical security project management or related field.
• Experience in data centers or critical infrastructure.
• Hands-on knowledge of access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and perimeter security.
• Experience reviewing construction drawings, submittals, RFIs, and substitutions.
• Proven ability to manage vendors, contractors, consultants, and systems integrators.
• Experience managing multiple projects, locations, budgets, and competing priorities.
• Strong communication, organization, judgment, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Familiarity with Procore.
• Working knowledge of networking and systems integrations related to physical security platforms.
• Ability to read and mark up construction drawings and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead physical security delivery across multiple data center construction projects.
• Manage the complete project lifecycle, including design reviews, bid packages, budgets, schedules, submittals, change orders, installation, commissioning, and closeout.
• Partner with architects, engineers, general contractors, vendors, systems integrators, customers, and internal teams.
• Review security drawings, specifications, product substitutions, and technical submissions against Crusoe and customer requirements.
• Apply physical security and CPTED principles to access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, fencing, gates, lighting, and perimeter protection.
• Manage multimillion-dollar budgets and identify cost, schedule, quality, and delivery risks.
• Establish consistent security standards, quality assurance processes, governance documents, and operating procedures.
• Conduct site walks, field inspections, installation reviews, and commissioning activities.
• Communicate technical decisions, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to both technical teams and senior stakeholders.
• Help shape Crusoe’s long-term physical security strategy as our data center portfolio grows.
