Job summary

Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Security Manager to lead and oversee the company’s Security Program. Reports to ASRC Federal VP of Security and Facilities and oversees compliance across contracts.

The role requires TS clearance eligibility, a Bachelor’s degree, and 8+ years of security leadership experience, with strong written and verbal communication. You will guide a security team and coordinate with government partners to protect sensitive information.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required and TS clearance with SCI eligibility preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant security program experience and leadership capability.
• Experience interpreting NISPOM and ICD/SEAD directives and applying them to programs.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide security oversight for ARS contracts and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing security team.
• Coordinate with government officials and ASRC leadership on security decisions.
• Mitigate risks and implement procedures to safeguard facilities and information.
• Oversee personnel clearance processing, program reviews, and audits.
• Prepare and disseminate security guidance and training materials.
• Ensure compliance with ICD 705 physical security requirements and SCIF builds.
