Job summary

GE Aerospace in Grand Rapids seeks a Facility Security Officer to manage the government security program for classified government work. You will ensure security processes align with NISPOM, and support compliance across the organization.

The role involves coordinating with the Industrial Security Operations team, preparing for DCSA security reviews, and maintaining strong external industry partnerships to stay ahead of policy developments. A TS clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer the National Industrial Security Program in compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM).
• Collaborate with Industrial Security Operations and leadership to implement security processes across the organization.
• Investigate National Security program-specific incidents affecting cleared personnel, facilities, and information systems.
• Serve as primary contact for DCSA reviews and maintain relationships with DCSA and government security personnel.
• Proficiency in COMSEC account management and device accountability; NSA inspection prep as well.
