Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking an experienced security program leader to design and operate risk programs across governance, incident response, and remediation. You will define KRIs/KPIs, implement dashboards, and present security maturity progress to leadership.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, Privacy, Legal, and Compliance to drive risk reduction initiatives and scalable security practices. The role requires strong communication, strong security background, and the ability to leverage AI

Qualifications

• Depth of security experience and familiarity with a broad range of information security concepts and principles.
• Proven experience running critical security programs.
• Experience working with engineers on large security projects with measurable impact.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, tailored to audience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, build, and operation of security operations and risk programs across governance, intake, escalation, and remediation.
• Define and operationalize security KRIs, KPIs, and health metrics across vulnerability management, incident response, detection, and remediation.
• Establish a consistent measurement framework, dashboards, and reporting taxonomy for leadership review.
• Prepare and present regular business reviews translating technical signals into risk narratives and priorities.
• Build the operating cadence for security leadership including quarterly planning and escalation forums.
• Create OKRs frameworks with milestones, progress evidence, and end-of-quarter readouts.
• Partner across Security, Engineering, Product, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to align priorities.
• Drive root-cause analysis and governance for operational issues; translate lessons into durable improvements.
• Maintain a portfolio view of security initiatives, risks, dependencies, and commitments to aid leadership decisions.
• Define standard methods for risk intake, issue tracking, escalation, and verified closure.
• Improve security operations through workflow automation and better decision support.
