Job summary

Amentum is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support the FBI Security Program. The role involves conducting database and credit checks, data entry, and managing logs, audits, and briefs.

You will analyze complex security issues, coordinate with FBI HQ and other agencies, and contribute to investigations while maintaining secure records. The position requires a Top Secret clearance, a related degree, about a year of experience, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance; US Citizenship required to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• Associate’s degree required.
• 1 year of experience required.
• Experienced in use of Microsoft Office products.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Experience performing routine office administrative support functions.
• Demonstrated analytical ability to review and analyze investigative material for vulnerabilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to conduct internet/open-source research for investigations.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and interprets database checks and credit reports.
• Performs data entry.
• Provides direct support to FBI Security Program administration (logs, audits, scheduling, briefs).
• Supports analysis and research into complex Personnel Security issues.
• Recommends polygraph examinations and/or interviews as needed.
• Summarizes data in formal written analyses of security concerns and resolutions.
• Maintains liaison with FBI divisions, DOJ, and IC partners.
• Updates and audits electronic workflow tracking programs.
