Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional with Active DoD Clearance in Carlsbad, CA to serve as a front desk presence at an aerospace/defense location. You will verify IDs, manage visitor records, monitor alarms, and respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner.

The role emphasizes customer service, adherence to site policies, and collaboration with site leadership to maintain a secure environment. The schedule includes day and night shifts with a competitive pay rate.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records in accordance with site policies.
• Monitor incoming communications, alarms, and/or security-related systems, and promptly report unusual activity or concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Support a professional front-desk environment by providing directions, answering routine inquiries, and coordinating with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives as needed.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
