Job Description

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrols in Tarrytown, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within the location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This post requires driving, as indicated by the need for a valid driver's license with a passenger endorsement. Pay Rate: $21.95 - $22.95 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid Class B driver's license with passenger endorsement.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
