As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Lead in Purchase, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, interacting with staff and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by acting with integrity, working collaboratively with your team, and adapting to the needs of the location. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.25 - $19.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat09:00 AM - 05:00 PMSun09:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the food and beverage facility and its perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Help to deter unwanted activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing the premises.
  • Document and report any unusual activity or incidents according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • New York Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
