Job Description

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol in Lewiston Woodville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a food and beverage production environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. You will interact with individuals on site, providing excellent customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $14.68 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to individuals at the food and beverage location by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents within the location.
• Assist with access control by observing entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
• Support emergency response activities, including guiding individuals during evacuations or other urgent situations.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
