Job Description

As a Security Professional – Unarmed Patrol in California, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a tech-focused location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining open communication with staff and visitors. You will contribute to a positive environment by acting with integrity, collaborating with your team, and demonstrating reliability and agility in your daily responsibilities.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.51 / Hour

DayTime

Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the tech, media, and telecom location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and potential threats within the premises.
• Support emergency response activities according to site protocols and instructions.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security experience is required.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
