As a Security Professional - Unarmed Hospital Patrol in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting staff and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with others and upholding the values of agility, reliability, and integrity. This position is focused on supporting a caring culture and putting people first while addressing security-related needs within the healthcare setting.

Pay Rate: $20.06 / Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions within the location, documenting findings as required by site protocols.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and guiding visitors as needed.
  • Support healthcare staff and visitors by providing information and assistance related to security-related matters.
  • Participate in emergency response activities, following established procedures for incidents such as fire alarms, medical emergencies, or disturbances.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
