Job Description

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Healthcare Site Patrol in New Castle, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a caring and reliable team that values integrity and puts people first, making a real difference in the daily experience of those at the facility.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule

Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Hours: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM

What You'll Do
  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance issues as observed during patrols.
  • Collaborate with facility staff and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns and support emergency response protocols.
  • Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and providing directions to visitors and staff as needed.

Minimum Requirements
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
