Job Description

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Aero Patrol in Annapolis, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in the aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with others and upholding the highest standards of integrity and reliability. Pay Rate: $18.23 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the aerospace and defense location, including both the business interior and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Maintain awareness of the unique environment and requirements of an aerospace and defense location while performing all assigned duties.
• Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or maintenance needs observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• A Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
