As a Security Professional - Telecom Patrol - Afternoon Shiftin Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all employees and visitors. You will be expected to communicate clearly and professionally, respond promptly to any security-related concerns, and utilize access control systems as needed. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, which may include both indoor and outdoor areas within a tech, media, or telecom environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members.
• Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related activities and incidents.
• Remain alert to surroundings and help to deter potential security-related risks through visible presence and proactive engagement.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience or 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
