As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will be part of a highly trained team supporting critical facilities, infrastructure, public venues, and personal protective services. You will receive training from our qualified firearms instructors in safe weapons handling and marksmanship. Your role is vital in the spectrum of specialized security services we provide daily.

Security personnel are to be certified and trained, and will be assigned various standing, sitting, and walking posts.

Expected Responsibilities

Security Officer Services - Level I include:

  • Providing incident response management, including medical incidents, natural disasters, and threats
  • Basic emergency first response (first aid, CPR, AED) and de-escalation
  • Maintaining contact lists, access cards, and related tasks at Service Locations without staffing

Event Security Services include planning, coordinating, and managing safety and security, crowd management, access control, perimeter security, incident response, and asset protection.

CCTV and Alarm Monitoring involve monitoring alarms and cameras, responding to breaches, and maintaining security standards.

Alarm Response Services include performing alarm responses, maintaining contact with GSOC, and assisting with incident reports.

Badging Services involve managing access for employees and workforce, escalating issues, and administering badges.

Lost and Found Services include managing lost items, inventory, and reporting, with liability considerations.

Visitor and Guest Processing include logging, badging, escorting, and maintaining badge inventories.

Exterior and Interior Perimeter Security involve patrols, inspections, and monitoring for unauthorized access and security concerns.

Vehicle Access Point Monitoring includes verifying credentials, logging vehicles, and monitoring entrances/exits.

Escort Services ensure proper access for visitors and subcontractors, avoiding unauthorized areas.

Qualifications

  • Current guard card license as required by law
  • Pass a 7-panel drug test, criminal background check, employment verification, and motor vehicle record check

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Proficiency in English (spoken, read, and written)
  • High integrity, security skills, computer skills, and valid licenses/certifications
