Job Description

As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer at a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with visitors and staff. This post requires driving as part of your duties. You will contribute to a positive environment by acting with integrity, working as part of a team, and putting people first in all interactions.

Pay Rate: $20.90 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity and helping to deter unwanted behavior.
• Assist with access control and monitor entrances and exits to help maintain a secure environment for shoppers, tenants, and staff.
• Document and report any incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities according to site protocols.
• Offer directions and general assistance to visitors and tenants as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• A County of Denver unarmed security professional license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
