Job Description

As a Security Professional - Retail Patrol in Dearborn, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for all visitors. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a sense of order, while your strong customer service and communication skills support positive interactions. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue10:00 AM - 05:00 PMSun10:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.
• Help to deter unwanted activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing the surroundings during patrols.
• Document and report any unusual activity or incidents according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
