As a Security Professional - Retail Location - Full Time in Central Valley, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and staff, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Your role supports a welcoming environment while upholding the company's values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. You will act with integrity and contribute to a caring culture that puts people first.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or activity within the retail environment.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with team members and site management regarding incidents or concerns.
• Support a welcoming and secure environment for all visitors, staff, and customers at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• New York Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
