As a **Security Professional - Residential Patrol** in **San Jose, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer at this residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence throughout the property. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with residents and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. **Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Sat08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Sun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the location.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or potential concerns to help to deter unwanted incidents.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering the premises.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
