Job Description

As a Security Professional - Patrol - Chemical Plant Location in Ludington, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining clear communication with staff and visitors. You will contribute to a positive environment by acting with integrity, reliability, and teamwork, reflecting our commitment to putting people first and delivering innovative solutions.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the chemical or petrochemical facility and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
• Document and report any unusual activity or incidents according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
