Morning / Afternoon Shifts Available: 6AM to 6PM, Saturday to Monday

$23.75 An Hour Starting Pay

As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol in Gaithersburg, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with staff and visitors. You will contribute to a welcoming environment by responding to situations as they arise and supporting the needs of the location. Our team values agility, reliability, and innovation, and we work together with integrity to put people first in all interactions.

Pay Rate: $23.75 / Hour

Mon 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence during patrols.
• Document and report any unusual observations or incidents encountered during patrols.
• Assist staff, visitors, and patients with directions or information as needed while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
