As a **Security Professional - Manufacturing Site** in **San Jose, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at the location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. This role is unarmed and does not require driving duties.

**Position Type: Part Time**

**Pay Rate: $24.95 / Hour**

**Job Schedule:**

**Day** **Time**

Sat07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

Sun07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

**Responsibilities:**

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Experience providing customer service is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ A valid guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
