As a Security Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence throughout the site. Your primary responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining clear communication with team members. This is a primarily driving post, offering the opportunity to be active and engaged throughout your shift. Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day	Time
Mon	03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Sun	03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or hazards encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with site protocols.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alabama Security Professional Guard Card preferred.
• Assignments may involve limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks, and experience in such environments is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is preferred for posts that are primarily driving and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
