Job Description

As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol in Oxford, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining clear communication. This post requires driving as part of your duties. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and general inquiries as needed.
• Support emergency response activities according to established protocols for the healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with AU driver policy requirements for driving positions.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
